Flabbergasted

Strange things have been coming into our house lately. I am used to seeing the geckos that come in and run around the ceiling & walls; but nothing could prepare me for the 'new' visitors we have had recently.

Saturday we found a ladybug crawling on our couch.
On Sunday we found 2, yes 2, caterpillars crawling across the floor in our front room.
Then this morning we found a worm crawling on the floor in front of the door.

Where did all these lovely creatures gain access to our house - we have no idea. We don't leave our front door open & all the windows have screens on them. I am planning on searching for their entry point & plugging it soon. I did notice yesterday that we have more birds hanging out near the back of the house lately and they were pretty active with grabbing things off the ground (other buggies I presume). Maybe these 4 buggies thought they could take refuge in my house. Instead they were either moved back outside or smashed by a shoe. I don't like buggies in my house & won't give them the impression they can stay with me.

Pain in my head

I want the pain in my head to stop. It feels like it is going to explode. I only got around 3 hours of sleep last night, kept up most of the night by the pain. My normal remedies for when my head does this are not working and it is starting make me irritable. I just want the pain to stop...

Just one of those days

Have you ever had one of those days when you just feel like hiding from the world? I am having one of those days today. Every noise, voice, laugh makes me want to run away while screaming EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Bark if your hungry

For lunch today I decided to sit outside so I could enjoying the sunshine, lovely breeze and a listen to a little Jethro Tull on the headphones. Everything was wonderful until I became overwhelmed by a horrible smell & feeling of nausea. What could it be? Some yahoo sat upwind from me with his lunch that smelled like dry dog food that had been soaking in water. I know this smell from growing up with dogs & having to endure that horrible smell when it was up to me to feed them. The gag reflex was working overtime & I had to leave in a hurry to prevent my lunch from making an unwanted return. I am at a loss for why people would eat food that smells & looks like dog food. Thanks yahoo for ruining my zen moment.

Theoretically it is driving me insane

I hate it when people use a word over & over again just because it makes them feel smarter or more important. I have a co-worker who CONSTANTLY uses the word theoretically. Why hasn't this account billed in the last 6 months - theoretically we should be billing monthly, but the department has problems. WHAT???? When did billing become theoretical? She theoretically uses the word about 200 times a day AND in almost ever conversation. She is an older woman (pushing 65) who is theoretically a few years past the time she should have retired but has said she probably wont for another 5 years in our last theoretical conversation on the subject. She is also a loud talker & sits right next to me, so I theoretically here the word everytime she uses it at work. Calgon take me away........

damn, I am still here. why doesn't that work in real life like it does on tv???

Time shifts in the Lost world

A few weekends ago we went to Kapiolani Park to go exploring & take photos. To my surprise we caught the island going through a time shift

After our walk we went exploring and came upon this lovely site

That's right, the wheel to move the island & the post Anthony Cooper was tied up to. If you have no idea what I am talking about, guess your are not a Lost fan. I was stoked to come upon such a delightful sight. I will keep my eyes out & will try to post any other cool Lost sightings as we see them.
